Our group chose this chapter because of the presence of many unique elements that separate chapter 29 from the other chapters. The amount of detail Lee used to describe such simple things emphasizes how wonderfully the author can use literary elements to convey her message. The rhetorical devices used, such as the imagery and the metaphors help describe key concepts found this this chapter, such as Jem's injury and Boo Radley. Strong ideas are communicated to the reader and the author's use of detail helps highlight how important these climax chapters are. Chapter 29 is significant because of the connections it makes with the beginning of the book and how it uses these connections to close the book.
